About the Chorus

Under the direction of Jim Koenig, The Tower City Chorus, an all male Barbershop Harmony chorus, that entertains large and small audiences throughout the Greater Cleveland Area. The Chorus has been ringing chords since 1940, at a variety of venues, such as theaters, hotels, retirement homes, church halls, festivals, and other special events. The Tower City Chorus sings a variety of music from the old standards such as ‘Good Bye My Coney Island Babe”, “Lida Rose” from the musical “The Music Man” to ballads such as “What A Wonderful World”,” Dream A Little Dream of Me”. We also sing genres such as patriotic, religious, show tunes, and many other styles of music from many different generations.

We will produce our next stage show in the Fall of 2020.  We have a smaller group that performs during the daytime hours, know as our “Midday Singers”. They are a group of about 15-20 men and perform particularly at Nursing homes and retirement homes and other special events or festivities as requested.

If you would like to hire the chorus or one of our chapter Quartets, please call 440-447-0531, email us at TowerCity, or visit us on Facebook at TowerCity Chorus
